If you live in Lynn Valley, you are invited to take part in Project Sunflower 2013! We’ve sent seed packets out to many of our LVL Network members, but we’d like to get as many people involved as we can. Please contact us if you’d like some seeds, and we’ll send them out as long as quantities last.

Wow! Thanks to the dozens of people who ‘liked’ us on Facebook over the past few weeks alone, we’re now at over 1,000 followers! Mary-Ann Yazedji was the Lucky Liker who tipped us over the 1K mark, so we’re sending her on a Hyak River Rafting trip for two this summer. Just our way of saying “Welcome to the Family!”
We’re starting off 2014 with a bang – and a newly upgraded website! Later this month we’ll be introducing improvements that include reader-generated classified ads and the ability to read LVL news comfortably on any size of device. Click below to find out more!
Well, done, artists of Lynn Valley! Thank you to everyone who entered our holiday colouring contest and brightened the walls of our new office at 3171 Mountain Hwy. Click ‘more’ to read the names of our prize-winners!
Just because the contest is over doesn’t mean the fun is! Spend some holiday time colouring one of our festive scenes – we will still donate $1 to the North Shore Youth Safe House for any art dropped in our office door before December 31!
We’re rooting for our Canadians in Sochi, and hoping that all athletes from around the world compete safely and take home some wonderful memories.
The Olympic Games run until February 23, followed by further inspiring performances at the Paralympic Games from March 7 to 16!
