Customers love that we recycle or divert their waste instead of it ending up in a local landfill.
And what do you like about your customers?
Our customers are concerned with the environment and how the waste they produce is being managed.
We have a diverse customer base consisting of businesses, property management firms, government agencies, and residents – which keeps things fun and ensures each day is a little bit different.
Do you have a tip for us?
Did you know 40% of household waste is organic material? It’s true, and it’s easy to compost this material.

In 2012 we achieved a diversion rate of 76%, and since 2010 we have diverted a total of 522 tonnes of material from our local landfill to alternative recycling or recovery waste streams.
How about your hobbies?
Mountain biking, the Grouse Grind, BBQ’ing, drinking wine and recycling.
How are you involved in the community?
In 2012 we donated nearly nine tonnes of furniture, clothing and other materials to charities that included Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army.
We also contribute to many other local not-for-profits like Special Olympics BC, Spinal Cord Injury BC, and Carisbrooke Parent Advisory Council.

I was a semi-pro mountain biker and know the North Vancouver trail system like the back of my hand. I am a certified teacher and went to UBC.

To never give up, and believe in what you do.
