Not many more sleeps and the Easter Bunny will finally be here, after a very wet spring! We have high hopes for fantastic weather for the first-ever LynnValleyLife Family Easter Egg Hunt, taking place at Viewlynn Park on Easter Monday, April 17th 10am-noon rain or shine! Join us for an Egg Hunt (ages 2-10) with lots of prizes, plus face painting, balloon art and more! Check our website and Facebook page for more details.

See Lynn Valley on stage!

It's always fun to see your hometown depicted on stage, so grab a friend and head to Hendry Hall for 2000, a play about living right on nature's doorstep and the interplay between civilization and wilderness. Set in Lynn Valley, it offers some things to think about - and some good laughs, too! Preview night is Thursday, April 7, and it runs until April 22. More details are on our blog.

Springtime = Sing Time!

Did you know that joining a choir has been proven to make your life way better? There's nothing that puts a spring in your step like singing a merry tune in the company of others.
Lynn Valley's community choir, BYOV (Bring Your Own Voice) is about to start a new season and is welcoming newcomers. People of all experience levels are welcome. Practices are Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. in Lynn Valley United Church. Call David at 604-376-4653 (or see him at his roost in the Rogers booth in the mall!)

Well, at least there's no snow in the forecast (knock on wood!) and we're counting on much better weather ahead.

Yes, the Easter Bunny is coming to Viewlynn Park on Monday, April 17 (see sidebar!) We've looked up how to weave a basket from boxes, so you'll be all ready for the big day.
