Happy back to school, whatever your age!
Don't let the kids have all the fun when fall kicks in! There are some great program offerings for adults, too - from a new year starting in the district library book club to Tai Chi and one-on-one computer training for seniors at Mollie Nye House, to a wide range of classes through North Van Rec  & Culture - there's something to help everyone expand their mental and physical horizons! Learn your local history - and pass it along
!

We know from reader feedback that local history stories are much enjoyed, so we know there are lots of local history buffs out there! The North Vancouver Museum and Archives are hoping that some of you would like to take that passion and "pay it forward" by becoming tour guides for school groups visiting the museum. This year has brought an excellent exhibit on Chief Dan George. Click here for information on the upcoming docent information sessions, and consider taking part!

Culture Days are coming!
From September 29 to October 1, a variety of North Shore groups will once again be offering up opportunities to engage in performance, creativity and the arts close to home. Have a look at some of the events taking place across the North Shore; click on "Hub 3" for activities happening here in Lynn Valley, including a night out with guitarist and storyteller Don Alder at Friday Night Live. (You can check out FNL's new season line-up right here!)

Are you ready to fall into fall?

Well, it's back-to-school time, like it or not! As much as one might hate to say goodbye to summer, though, there's something exciting about getting ready for everything autumn has to offer, whatever your age. There are many local programs for preschoolers, seniors and everyone in between, so we hope you jump on the bandwagon and get involved in a new challenge or opportunity in the months to come! See our story at left for some ideas.

And if your new fall project involves a change in residence, please keep our LynnValleyLife realtors in mind. They have all the expertise necessary to make any transition as simple and stress-free as it can be!
