A 105 years ago one of Lynn Valley’s most well known citizen’s life change forever. On Aug. 4, 1914. A pioneer to Lynn Valley, North Vancouver, Walter Draycott answered the call for men at the start of World War I and was thrust into combat on the Western Front. He left an astounding legacy for all Canadians - The Great War Chronicle.
A national legacy
The wealth of information and reflections were part of a four year project from 2014-2018 to release his diaries, drawings, recordings and other musings exactly 100 years after they were written.
