The countdown to Lynn Valley Days is on: a few tickets for the Friday night Gala are still available but be quick! Please note Lynn Valley Road will be closed Sat. June 16th from 9:15-11:15 am during the parade, and detours will be in place. Join us on the field afterwards for lots of rides, games and family fun!

Speaking of fun, summer holidays are right around the corner as North Vancouver Public schools are out on June 28th. Now is the time to think about those Canada Day weekend plans! Know any secret camping spots? It is looking like it's going to be a hot summer so for now we're going to enjoy June-uary's cooler days. Back to those secret camping spots - pass them on.

Home buyer demand continues to decline across the Metro Vancouver housing market which is allowing housing supply to accumulate.

The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential property sales in the region totaled 2,833 in May 2018, a 35.1 per cent decrease from the 4,364 sales recorded in May 2017.

“With fewer homes selling today compared to recent years, the number of homes available for sale is rising,” Phil Moore, REBGV president said. “The selection of homes for sale in Metro Vancouver has risen to the highest levels we’ve seen in the last two years, yet supply is still below our long-term historical averages.”

“For home sellers to be successful in today’s market, it’s important to price your property competitively given the shifting dynamics we’re experiencing,” Moore said. “It’s also important to work with your local Realtor to better understand these changing conditions.”
