What do customers like about having you as a trainer?
They like having a trainer who can come to their home and create a workout that is accessible. And getting knowledge from an experienced and educated trainer who has been in the business for 17 years, and who understands their personal needs!
And what do you like about your customers?
We love getting to know people and what they truly need out of their fitness programs; creating relationships that are based on more than just client and trainer.
Have a tip for us?
Getting fit can be intimidating to some, but it doesn’t have to be. Create a support network made up of family or friends, and tell them about your goals. With people to support you, you will be more successful at achieving your fitness dreams.
Can you tell us about some of your other accomplishments?
I have been quoted as a fitness expert in a number of Shape Magazine articles, Arthritis Today, and CBS.com. I have also authored numerous articles on health and fitness. I’m currently working on a fitness book!
How about hobbies?
Weight training, reading, spending time with my kids and husband.
How are you involved in the community?
I’m at the yearly Terry Fox Run warm up, getting the racers ready to run! And I’m a Sparks Leader in Lynn Valley.
What don’t we know about you?
I used to live in Minnesota.
What has the business taught you?
Relationships are important and must be cultivated.
What are your future plans?
Publishing a fitness book and creating a new fitness device.
