What can you tell us about your customers?
Our customers are families, professionals, and businesses who want peace of mind. Many of them are moving within the Lower Mainland, while others are relocating across the country. They care about value, but more than that, they want to know their belongings and their home are in good hands. A lot of our business comes from repeat customers and referrals, which means we’re building relationships, not just moving boxes.
Do you have a tip for us?
If you’re planning a move, start early. Even if you’re packing yourself, give yourself more time than you think you’ll need especially for items like lamps, artwork, and electronics that people often forget about. And don’t hesitate to lean on your moving company for advice along the way the right team can make your move feel effortless.
Tell us something that you’ve accomplished.
Ferguson has been around for over 100 years, and in that time, we’ve built a reputation as the trusted mover in our community. One of the things I’m most proud of is how we’ve modernized moving from video quotes to real-time tracking while keeping our family-business feel. It’s rare in our industry, and it’s something we work hard to protect.
Any hobbies?
Outside of work, I’m passionate about aviation. I’m a private pilot and love flying. I also enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and keeping active. I find that flying especially sharpens my focus for business it’s all about preparation, precision, and staying calm under pressure.
What about community involvement?
We care deeply about giving back. One area we’ve focused on is mobility helping seniors and people with disabilities who face challenges moving. We provide in person 1-1 care and a single point of contact that people can trust. We also answer the phones without confusing directories. For us, community involvement is about people, not just projects.
What has business taught you?
Business has taught me that success comes from people. You can have the best trucks, systems, or marketing, but if you don’t invest in your team and customers, it won’t last. I’ve also learned that mistakes aren’t the end of the world what matters is how you handle them and what you learn.
Any future plans?
Yes, Ferguson is continuing to grow across Canada. We’re already in Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary, and Toronto, and we’re building a national presence while keeping that local, personal feel. Technology will play a big part in the future of moving, and we’re excited to stay at the forefront of innovation.

“We lift expectations.” It’s our company's promise, and it’s more than a slogan. It means we aim higher in every part of our business from how we treat our customers to how we support our team.
