Help Send the Argyle Rugby Team to Argentina

The Argyle Senior Boys rugby team has been hard at work fundraising for their upcoming tour to Argentina this spring, which is only possible through the generous support of the Lynn Valley community. If you live around Argyle, you’ll probably have seen boys knocking on doors to collect bottles and cans, or received emails about buying apples. These fundraisers are crucial to this trip going forward, and even more important are the generous donations from local businesses like Westview Orthodontics.

The plan for the tour will take the team of roughly 40 boys across Argentina beginning in Buenos Aires, then Tandil and Mar de Plata, before the return back home. The 12 day trip will include three games against some of the top high school rugby teams in Argentina, as well as elite coaching during their time there.

This trip of a lifetime, the first for the Argyle rugby program in over a decade, has a very high cost, and the boys and parents are already working hard to pay for it, which is why we want to source as many willing sponsors as possible. Currently, a major goal is to find a donor to pay for touring kits, including shorts, jerseys and socks.
