A Lynn Valley teen is heading to Camp Rock. Fourteen-year-old Casey Trotter has been cast in Disney’s Camp Rock 3, now in production in Vancouver. The film is set to premiere on Disney+ and Disney Channel in summer 2026. Trotter plays Cliff, a drummer with his own beat. It’s his biggest role yet.
The new movie brings back the Jonas Brothers as Connect 3, the fictional band that anchored the original films. This time, the brothers return to Camp Rock after losing the opening act for a major reunion tour. They’re looking for new talent. A new generation steps forward. Disney describes the film as a high-energy mix of rivalry, music, and shifting friendships.
Tensions rise. Romances spark. Campers compete for a once-in-a-lifetime chance.
The Camp Rock franchise first launched in 2008 and quickly became one of Disney Channel’s most successful original movie series. Alongside High School Musical, the films helped define an era of Disney Channel original movies and introduced a generation of young viewers to musical storytelling. More than a decade later, the third installment blends nostalgia with a new cast, introducing younger performers to a global audience.
