District of North Vancouver residents will soon head to the polls to choose a mayor, 6 councillors and 4 school trustees. With 5 candidates running for mayor, 15 for council and 11 for school trustee, voters have a wide range of choices ahead of them.

Don't miss the spook-tacular Dovercourt Crypt this year with a choice of nights to visit. LynnValleyLife including Broker Canada Insurance, Mortgage Dave and Oakwyn Realty are proud sponsors for this bustling Halloween event and all proceeds go to the Fire Fighters Burn Fund.

A proposal to create a new driving route between Lynn Valley and Inter-River has been rejected by the District of North Vancouver council. Mayor Mike Little had proposed putting the idea of a Rice Lake connector bridge to voters in a non-binding referendum during the next municipal election.
