Christmas spirit alive in Lynn Valley!

A new bridge over Highway 1 is reconnecting North Shore neighbourhoods that have been separated for more than six decades. The City of North Vancouver officially opened the Crosscut Bridge on August 20.

Today, Lynn Valley is known for its residential neighbourhoods, trails and busy town centre. But tucked among its streets are reminders of a time when horses were a much more visible part of the community. One of those reminders is the former Laura Lynn Riding Club.

More than five years after a devastating fire, the Lynn Valley Masonic Hall is reopening its doors. The rebuilt hall at 1371 Lynn Valley Rd. will be rededicated with a public Cornerstone Laying Ceremony on Saturday, September 12 at 10 a.m.
