Spring is bursting and the sun is shining. There is no better time to celebrate mom. We have put together our picks for Lynn Valley's best celebrations for Mother's Day. 

Celebrating Moms at Lynn Valley Centre

There will be live music and tea at Lynn Valley Centre celebrating Mother’s Day. Two seatings will take place at 1 and 2:30 p.m.This by-donation event is open to the public and pays tribute to local seniors for their continued support of the retailers at Lynn Valley Centre.Traditional afternoon high-tea which includes dainty finger sandwiches, scrumptious desserts, coffee and tea will also be served.Attendance is by donation by RSVP is required. Please call 604-987-5820 ext. 14 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Mother’s Day Contest

Lynn Valley Village has its annual Mother’s Day contest on the go. They are drawing the winner Saturday so don’t forget to enter your favourite mom. She will love the gift basket from local retailers.

Good Eats for a Good Mom

The Black Bear Neighbourhood Pub is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch. In addition to all the regular offerings they will have a special of Lobster Benedict and fruit salad. Plus moms get a complimentary mimosa. Sounds like a treat! If brunch isn’t your mom’s cup of tea, take her to the Black Bear for Sunday family dinner - prime rib and all the trimmings. Their kid-friendly hours are Mon - Fri 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Sat, Stat Holidays  11 a.m. - 4 p.m. & Sun 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
