Curves offers a fun, convenient, comfortable environment where members find all the support they need to meet their goals. The Curves Work-out focuses on strength training and cardio, and is necessary for women of all ages. Curves Circuit strengthens women by building muscle, bone density and burning body fat.
Beside the Curves Circuit with hydraulic machines we offer classes that range from low to high intensity, which means there’s always a program that works for any age woman.
What can you tell us about your customers?
We see our members improve their health every week that goes by. They are happy, healthy and strong women; they are Curves women! Our members are a great inspiration to us and make our job so much fun and rewarding. We love our Curves Ladies!
Have any tips for couch potatoes?
Move, move and move some more! A moving body regenerates itself.
What are some of your biggest accomplishments?
Moving to Canada 3 year ago, it’s being a huge challenge to adjust myself to the culture, embracing the English language, still looking after other businesses and raising my 3 kids! Boy, I’m busy!!
Hobbies?
I love my accounting job! However, raising my kids and seeing them happy and loving their lives here in Canada is my hobby.
How are you involved in the community?
We take part in several fundraisers throughout the year. We just launch our 10th March Food Drive, where we support our local Harvest Project. We also do our own annual “Cross the Bridge Walk” to raise funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer research.
Tell us something we don’t know about you.
I am from Monterrey, Mexico – I’m a very shiny person! Not very outgoing, so I’m so thankful that Denise (previous owner) left me a “terrific team of women” that are running the club.
What’s something the business has taught you?
To be honest, I’m still learning a lot of it! I’m looking forward to get more actively involve. At this time I’m involve in the marketing & of course the accounting areas with the support of all my “team”.
Any future plans?
I am looking forward to growing my business here in this beautiful city!
