What do customers say about Ripple Effect coaching?
Clients have told me that I’ve changed their lives! They have a better idea of who they are and what they want out of life, and they know exactly how to go about getting it. They love that I help them see things from a completely different perspective. I’m honest and questioning, yet lovingly supportive. I hold them accountable for accomplishing what they’ve committed to, while at the same time I give them the compassion they need as they take exciting risks in their lives.
And what do you say about your clients?
I am inspired by each and every one of my clients. After I’ve completed a coaching session, I often feel energized and motivated to tackle some of my own goals. I’m amazed at what my clients can accomplish with just a little bit of focus, accountability, and support. Everyone has greatness inside of them – it’s my job to simply help uncover it.
Do you have any tips for the rest of us?
Instead of trying so hard to be perfect, let others see cracks in your armour. Support them when they share their imperfections with you. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with someone who is likely going through similar struggles. You’ll find that your vulnerability will actually start attracting people to you, and you’ll be able to build a strong support network.
Tell us about your hobbies.
Do “my family” and “the outdoors” count as hobbies?!
Whether we’re at a local playground, hiking in Lynn Canyon with our dog, or jumping in mud puddles on a rainy day, we love being outside. I also enjoy gardening, yoga and reading (especially parenting or motivational books and blogs).
Tell us something we don’t know about you!
When I was 10 years old, I presented flowers to Princess Diana when she and Prince Charles opened the Variety Club Playground in Burnaby’s Central Park. It was exciting to be a part of that incredible day and I’ll never forget shaking her hand when she thanked me for the basket of flowers I handed her.
What’s your business taught you?
Gratitude! And the importance of living in the moment.
Do you have a favourite quotation?
“For it is not joy that makes us grateful; it is gratitude that makes us joyful.”
