What can you tell us about your customers?
Our customers are busy; especially when they are moving. They really want to hand their move off to us so they can deal with everything else that is happening – real estate transactions, banks, conveyances, renovations, jobs, kids and school.
Do you have a tip for us?
Packing your kitchen will take the most time to pack. Start early and pack up things you won’t need for a while, like the china in the hutch, tools in the garage, and the board games in the cupboard.
Tell us about something else you’ve accomplished.
I recently opened a second location in Surrey, BC!
Hobbies?
I enjoy fixing things that are broken around the house (normally I won’t get too far before I need to get an expert’s advice, though!) For fun I love dirt biking in Squamish (on designated trails).
What about community involvement?
Move For Hunger is a new program we do. When packing the kitchen, many food items get thrown away. We give customers a box for donations and take them to the local food bank.
What has the business taught you?
Being a part of the community is so important, especially in Lynn Valley. We don’t just want to take, we like to give. We love doing things like donating to Lynn Valley Day, participating in the parade with a fun float for the whole family, and making friends.
Any future plans?
I plan to open two more locations within the next 24 months; Richmond and Langley.
